Answer to this tricky line of best fit question! Remember, unless you see a 0 at the start of the y-axis, don’t confuse the “y-intercept” of where it looks like the line is hitting for the real y-intercept! Of course, you can pick two points (as far as possible from one another) to actually calculate the slope and then the y-intercept, but for most questions on the SAT, you can have just as much success 🍀 (and save valuable time) with process of elimination.
