A tricky question that involves two levels of analysis! Putting "though" at the end of a sentence will actually cause the transition to occur between the sentence BEFORE it and the sentence itself. Ex., "He likes chocolate ice cream. I like vanilla, though. Sara likes strawberry ice cream." Notice in the above example that Sara's strawberry preference has nothing to do with the "though."
